Purple Rain is a dynamic DJ based in Vancouver, WA, with over 25 years of experience in music and entertainment. Originally from Southern California, she launched her career in 1996 as a live sound engineer for the biker blues band The Rouges, later evolving into a vinyl DJ spinning House Music in the 90’s.
Her journey has included producing original tracks, working in audio design for top video game studios like EA and Activision, and DJing at venues across the Pacific Northwest. Since relocating to Vancouver in 2019, Purple Rain has energized crowds at clubs, conventions, and festivals including White Owl Social Club, Tube PDX, Plush Vancouver, Sanctuary PDX, Secret Roller Disco, Mt. Tabor Dance, Triple Nickel Pub, Starday Tavern and RollerCon in Las Vegas.
Outside the booth, she brings the same passion to her roles as a jammer for Crow City Roller Derby, Prop and Uniform Coordinator for the Portland Ghostbusters, and co-host of the Ghost Heads Nerd Talk podcast and Purple Jamz radio show on Same Wave Radio.
