MV-MT, pronounced “Movement,” is the stage name of Portland-based DJ and producer Dontae Givens. Embodying the philosophy of continuous progression in goals, passions, and life, MV-MT has been actively sharing music since at least early 2023. His SoundCloud profile features a variety of mixes and original tracks, including the “Summer Morning Coffee Mix” series and collaborations like “BURN 4 U” with JAHYCE, released in January 2025. So far in 2025, MV-MT has supported artists such as Disco Lines in Boise, ID, and Coco and Breezy in Portland Oregon. Showcasing his growing presence in the electronic music scene.
